Nevada Camping

At the Iveson Ranch, it is easy to forget we are in the desert where you must be "Radically Self Reliant" to survive. Read: This is Nevada!

You are welcome to camp with your RV or tent. However, everyone must be prepared to be self reliant. We have few services and the nearest grocery store is 100 miles away!

We have shade and a place to self-cook your meals. Anything more civilized may be hard to find out here. Be prepared to take care of yourself.

Camping Options:

• Park your RV under one of the huge 100 year old poplars next to the stream.

• Seek shade in the fruit orchard for your vehicle and pitch your tent.

• Our primitive area is hidden in mature wild trees and bordered by a stream on one side and our private wildlife areas on the other. Nearby, our spring-fed seasonal reservoir attracts myriads of wildlife. There is enough room for 3 RV's or as many tents as you choose near a camp fire ring. This area is located 1 mile from our DMZ and away from ranching activities.
